Types of Haircuts

  • Scissor Cut – An all over haircut using mainly scissors. Scissor cuts blend the hair better and grow out more naturally than clipper cuts.
  • Clipper Cut – Common clipper cuts are short on the back/sides and fade into longer hair on top. Both clipping machines and scissors may be used.
  • Buzz Cut – A haircut where the hair is cut very close to the scalp and is typically cut to all the same length using clippers.
  • Flat Top Cut – Cut so the top hair stands up from the scalp and appears flat from forehead to crown. Clippered on sides and back.

Easy Kids' Haircuts

We love watching kids grow up and how their hairstyles change over the years. Arcade Barbers tries to make getting a haircut fun! We have a LEGO Train that runs around the perimeter of the shop! We typically have suckers to hand out to kids who sit well for their haircut.

Baseline Pricing

These are base prices for services but your cut may cost more depending on your personal needs. The barber will inform you if an additional amount will be added. Military and senior discounts available, just ask!

  • Scissors Cut Short Hair– $30+
  • Scissors Cut Long Hair– $35+
  • Clipper Cut – $30+
  • Flat Top – $25+
  • Single Attachment Buzz Cut – $20+
  • Multi Guard Buzz Cut and ROTC Cuts – $25+ (Extra for fade.)
  • Beard Trim – $15+

Appointment FAQ

  • Our barbers make their own schedules and some rotate Saturday hours. The Square App will show you what barber has availability. All appointments are made through the secure Square App.
  • Same day or next day appointments may be available. Appointments are available 2 weeks at a time. If the appointments are full, please check back at a later date for open time slots.
  • PLEASE NOTE: A credit or debit card is required to hold your appointment. We do not charge the card unless you do not show up or cancel the appointment 6 hours prior. You may see a pending charge of $1.00 on your card after you book the appointment but no charges will be incurred unless you are a no-show. The $1.00 hold on your card will be dismissed after your appointment.
  • We do not autocharge your credit card for the haircut. You must pay the barber after services are rendered.
  • If you need to cancel, please do so through the Square App or by calling the shop at 734.665.7894. We do not check Email or Messaging for communications during business hours.
  • We accept credit cards or cash. Paying with cash is an easy thing you can do to help keep our costs down. Please bring the appropriate amount of cash, as we may not be able to make change. There are two ATMs nearby - 7/11 on State Street and Huntington on Liberty and State.
  • If you are having trouble booking an online appointment, please contact the shop at 734.665.7894.
  • If you have an appointment and start feeling unwell, please cancel and reschedule for a later date.
  • Arcade Barbers is not responsible if you get sick. By getting services you agree to these terms. We follow all state cleaning and safety protocols. We appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you soon.
